1. Clothing and Footwear
Closed footwear: The use of athletic shoes or trekking boots with good grip is mandatory. Sandals, flip-flops, or loose footwear are not permitted.
Comfortable clothing: It is recommended to wear long pants (to avoid chafing with the harness) and garments that allow movement.
Clothing: Even in summer, the temperature can drop on the higher platforms. A windbreaker or light jacket is advisable.
Hair tied back: For safety reasons, people with long hair must wear it tied back throughout the circuit.
2. Restrictions and Health
Physical condition: This activity requires a normal state of health. It is not suitable for people with heart problems, serious spinal injuries, or recent surgery.
Pregnancy: For safety reasons, this activity is not permitted for pregnant people.
Weight limits: 120 kg.
Extreme vertigo: Although it is a high-altitude activity, the guides provide complete confidence, but it is not recommended for people with severe phobias of heights.

Equipment: Do not attempt to adjust or remove the helmet or harness yourself. Any adjustments must be made by trained personnel.
Personal belongings: Avoid bringing items that could fall (cell phones without straps, loose cameras, unsecured glasses). The company is not responsible for losses in the forest.

The Canopy Tour at Pueblo Alto Lodge is not just an adventure activity, but a soaring flight through the heart of Patagonia. The circuit is technically designed with 8 strategically placed stations and 5 cables that complete a total route of 2,000 meters, allowing visitors to glide above the treetops in an experience filled with excitement and panoramic views.
Safety is our absolute priority. Therefore, the system features double steel cables, spun to high-strength standards to guarantee maximum reliability. Personal equipment includes high-speed double pulleys, ergonomic harnesses, protective gloves, and helmets with side reinforcements—all internationally certified for intensive use in mountain activities.
The setting for this adventure is Pueblo Alto Lodge, located in a privileged geographical spot: just 35 km from Esquel, 11 km from Trevelin, and a mere 5 km from the entrance to Los Alerces National Park. As participants progress along the different sections of the circuit, they can immerse themselves in the biodiversity of the Valdivian Rainforest, recognizing ancient specimens of native vegetation such as ñire, coihue, and maiten trees.
From the high platforms, unforgettable vistas unfold before you: the imposing silhouette of the Cordón Situación mountain range, the deep blue of Lake Futalaufquen, and the spectacular Fontana Stream basin. On clear days, the horizon reveals the distant and massive Cerro Tres Picos, crowned by the ever-majestic Andes Mountains.

The excursion is not cancelled due to rain. If, during the excursion, the vehicle is unable to access any of the aforementioned attractions due to road conditions. It is important to bear in mind that some sections are clay-covered and uphill. The guide may choose another nearby attraction to visit that is easily accessible.
