Can you imagine walking on a blanket of virgin snow as you venture into a dreamlike Patagonian forest? With this snowshoeing excursion from Esquel, you'll discover La Curva de los Guanacos (The Guanaco Curve), one of the most spectacular and best-kept winter trails in the region. A perfect adventure to connect with nature and enjoy the Andes Mountains in an active and fun way.
Itinerary
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Esquel at the agreed time and board our 4x4 vehicles. We will leave the city behind to embark on an exciting 7-kilometer journey to the La Hoya Mountain Activity Center.
Halfway along the trail, we'll stop at La Curva de los Guanacos, the starting point of our trek. There, the guide will provide you with all the necessary equipment (snowshoes, poles, and gaiters) and give you a brief demonstration of how to use them. It's extremely easy and suitable for everyone!
Once ready, we'll begin our hike alongside an idyllic frozen stream. Gradually, we'll immerse ourselves in the heart of a captivating snow-covered forest. As we trek, our guide will reveal the secrets of the native flora and fauna of Argentine Patagonia. We'll combine outdoor activity with the most spectacular views of the Andes Mountains.
After exploring the most beautiful corners of the circuit, we'll enjoy a well-deserved snack to warm up and share our experiences. Finally, we'll begin our return journey in 4x4 vehicles to the meeting points in Esquel.

The excursion is not cancelled due to rain. If, during the excursion, the vehicle is unable to access any of the aforementioned attractions due to road conditions. It is important to bear in mind that some sections are clay-covered and uphill. The guide may choose another nearby attraction to visit that is easily accessible.
